  • Plastic container and bowl
  • Kosher salt 1/2 cup

Procedure

Take a plastic bowl to mix all the powder ingredients crucially. Now mix the salt with the other ingredients. Then pour the mixture into the plastic airtight container. 

Use a spoon to refill detergent in the dishwasher. One tablespoon of DIY detergent is enough per cycle. The cleaning result is similar to any commercial dishwasher cleaner.

DIY Tablet cleaner

Despite powder detergent, you can also make tablet detergents for dishwashers at home. Follow the below approaches.

Things you need

  • Baking Soda 1cup
  • Washing soda 1cup
  • Kosher salt 1cup
  • Lemon juice 3/4 cup
  • Ice trays
  • Plastic container

Procedure

Take a plastic bow to mix all the powder ingredients crucially. Then add lemon juice and mix it with the mixture till all the ingredients are moist evenly.
